Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be open for in-house families on Monday, February 6 and for the general public on Monday, February 20.

EARLY CHILDHOOD

The goal of Beth Moshe Early Childhood Center is to provide an enriching early childhood educational experience within the framework of a Jewish environment. A healthy self image and a feeling of independence are important aspects of the school life of our children. Our Early Childhood Center holds as its fundamental and basic goal, quality education in a nurturing and loving atmosphere. Positive reinforcement is stressed in order to accomplish each student’s potential for intellectual, physical, social, spiritual and emotional growth. Beth Moshe provides an age-appropriate academic and Judaic curriculum, Shabbat and holiday programs, strong communication with parents, both formal and informal and an excellent ratio of teacher to children. We offer half day and full day 5 day programs.

At Beth Moshe Early Childhood Center we offer classes for children age 18 months (child must be walking) until Kindergarten. We are VPK accredited. Our Early Childhood Teachers are trained in child developmental methods and meet all DCF education and background requirements. Our Head Teachers hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree and /or a CDA accreditation. Teachers in our VPK classes must be VPK Instructor Certified in addition to holding other degrees and certifications.

Enrichment

Beth Moshe offers a daily After School Enrichment Program. This program offers a variety of stimulating classes designed to allow students of all ages to develop enriching and useful skills. Students can participate in classes that enhance their growth and development in a fun and structured environment. Some of the classes offered are: Kidokinetics, Yoga, Creative Movement, and Arts and Crafts. Classes are for children 18 months to Kindergarten. The classes are from 3:00-4:30 Monday through Thursday and 3:00-4:00 on Friday. We also offer After Care supervision from 4:30-5:30 Monday through Thursday. There is no After Care Supervision on Friday.

Summer Camp

Camp Beth Moshe is offered to children 18 months to six years old. All campers who attend Camp Beth Moshe will blossom as they participate in many exciting activities in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Campers will learn to swim from a certified swim instructor, enjoy water play, outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, in-house shows, color war, weekly themes such as pajama day, pirates and princess day, dance party ,etc. Every Friday campers will participate in a Shabbat program. Each camp group is planned to offer ideal counselor-to- camper ratio, allowing for individualized attention and care. Campers who are 4 years old and older will enjoy weekly field trips. We offer half day and full day camp programs for children 18 months to 2 and a half years old and a full day program for children 3 and older. The camp sessions for this summer are Session 1: June 14- July 9 and Session 2: July 12- August 6
